Views a Year Later

A year ago, things were, well, kind of low around here. I was waiting on a baby who just didn't want to show up to the party. I was joking that I'd lost interest, anyway.

Headstone

Of course, she did decide to join us and so we took her along to the playground with us this year (just like last year), asleep, but very much on the outside.

Gnome Home

We found gnome homes and headstones.  This particular playground is right by a very, very, very old cemetery.

Snacks

We had snacks and tea.  I can see apples and peanut butter becoming a part of our rotating list of things to munch on.

Feet in the Leaves

And I fit down the slide this time and looked at my now empty tummy.  Our girl has a birthday tomorrow!

A Blessed Wilderness

It was just like being in heaven, being in there. In those days there was no road. The park was all a blessed wilderness. I have often thought what a wonderful people we would have been if we had wanted to keep it that way.
