Cold Snap Views

It was a chilly eight degrees yesterday morning, just before the sun rose.  Mid-morning, we went out for a walk after a thirty-minute dressing session.  My new overalls were toasty, but the cold air hurt my face.  We weren't out long and spent much of the rest of the day inside.

Rolling

Laurel Mae kept busy while Roan and I washed the dishes.
She's our third child to push this little cart and she mastered it quickly.
I'm curious to see when she begins walking independently.

Nativity

Willow is clearly in a Christmas mood, a couple weeks in advance.
Or ten days.  We'll start Advent the 30th.
I think we're all very ready.

Rocking

Roan had a big time on the curvy board.
I've saved my pennies for several months to get the children this.
It's fairly easy to find on sale and with free shipping.
One cooperative gift for Christmas that I think will do wonders for Winter energy.

Hugginh

The dolls are nearly ready to mail, but they need love before they go.

Patting

Laurel sat for the longest time, hugging and patting.

 Waving

She's such a sweetheart when she waves.  I still can't wrap my mind around doing all these milestones again.

A Blessed Wilderness

It was just like being in heaven, being in there. In those days there was no road. The park was all a blessed wilderness. I have often thought what a wonderful people we would have been if we had wanted to keep it that way.
