Crafting On

It's been a long time since I joined up with Crafting On. I think I am getting a better hold on things now that the year has turned and my energies have been renewed.  Quiet time is starting to be very dependable (knock on wood) and I am finding it to be restful and productive.  I am able to read or nap most days!

Bed and Crinkles

Last week, a little bear called Smokey got a little bed.
We made orange crinkles, too.

Morning Glory Hat

beanovich sent me yarn for her forthcoming little one.
This is the Morning Glory hat.

And here are some Elfin Baby Booties to cover tiny toes.
The yarn makes me think of Peter in Blueberry Land.

Mermaid Tail

Here's the infamous Mermaid Tail for Virginia, photographed with In the Land of Merfolk.
It will be so nice when it's finally done.

Mushroom Hat

And the long-awaited, still waiting, mushroom hats.
I took this picture for accountability.
They're very nearly done and I just need to finish them.

Now, to spend the rest of quiet time with some reading.

They are very good. :-) I am happy to make them. It gets me into the habit of handwork again.

A Blessed Wilderness

It was just like being in heaven, being in there. In those days there was no road. The park was all a blessed wilderness. I have often thought what a wonderful people we would have been if we had wanted to keep it that way.
