Crafting On

A productive week here.
We have a new dress from an old pattern.
This was very quick to sew and I feel quite pleased with the results.
Someone has lost a top tooth, too!

The New Dress

The last pair of overalls, for now, is complete.
These gave me a bit of trouble, but they'll fit through the Autumn.
I'm definitely going to revisit my patterns and try again.

Overalls

I have a couple more corduroy projects cut out--another dress and a skirt.
I'm duplicating a skirt Willow has loved very much, complete with pockets.
I'm hoping to make Roan some shorts, too, though not in purple.

Projects

And here's a quick project from a couple weeks ago, a very simple skirt.
Elastic waist, very slight A-line.
It's hard to see here, but it does look very nice on her.

That's a lovely colour of corduroy and the dress is very pretty. I do love the colour of the sweater (I know you don't mention it in your post, but it really is lovely :) )

Thanks! I got the sweater at a secondhand shop a couple years ago. It really suits her.

A Blessed Wilderness

It was just like being in heaven, being in there. In those days there was no road. The park was all a blessed wilderness. I have often thought what a wonderful people we would have been if we had wanted to keep it that way.
