Crafting On and On

Still making, still inching my way along.  I am in no particular hurry presently, but I suppose I will scramble around at some point.  There are birdseed cookies on the stove and potholders waiting to be stuffed on the counter.  There are also four beds with clean sheets waiting to be put on.

Child Surprise and Others

Here's the Child Surprise Jacket, looking like nothing in particular, as it should.
There's a tiny felt mouse from a Mary Engelbreit book.  It was Willow's gift to Laurel.
And here's the start of an angel mobile.  I've had that stick a long, long time.
It's time to turn it into something.  I'll share more about that later.

Merry Pants

Christmas pants, because, why not?
The children look absolutely adorable in them.
I love the striped flannel best of all.

And here's a skirt for Willow.  I call it the Winter-Spring skirt.
Or the skirt for when Winter is like Spring, because that's what it is right now.
Nearly seventy degrees for Christmas with rain!

Reversible Skirt

One side is a fine corduroy and the otehr side is this sweet floral print.
She really likes it.  I will be her Christmas skirt, in fact.

And another pair of overalls for Laurel Mae.
This corduroy has a little cable print on it.

Now, time to get to work on that mobile.  Merry Christmas Eve Eve!  For more crafting visit Frontier Dreams.

Lovely, just lovely. :) And that tablecloth in the background -- the same one my mom always pulled out to use at Christmas. :)

A Blessed Wilderness

It was just like being in heaven, being in there. In those days there was no road. The park was all a blessed wilderness. I have often thought what a wonderful people we would have been if we had wanted to keep it that way.
