Crafting On

I want to go and sew some dresses or cut them out or something, so here's a quick crafting update.

Here are some pajamas I cut out last year and finished a couple weeks ago.  Yes, last year.  I made some alterations yesterday.  They're Simplicity 1264 and I made them out of an old set of flannel sheets.

I'm planning ot make some stick gnomes very soon.  Making the cuts needed is outside of my current skill level (hand saw and miter box), so a neighbor is going to help out.  He seems to have all the power tools in the world.  I'm really grateful!  These will go into my etsy shop.

And here's the Martinmas sweater, still creeping along.  I think I'll finish the sleeve tonight and get this whole thing done soon.  I generally knit in the evening before my very early bedtime, so my knitting pictures are made in the dark.

A Blessed Wilderness

It was just like being in heaven, being in there. In those days there was no road. The park was all a blessed wilderness. I have often thought what a wonderful people we would have been if we had wanted to keep it that way.
