Views from Here

Nature day at the lake.
We kept to the sun of the spillway.

At the spillway

Laurel really walked her first trail here.
We could hardly keep up with her (and away from the edge!).

In the Swamp

Cloud dough--proof that I am sometimes messy and fun.
Just kidding, of course.  But, yes, this stuff is messy!

Playing House

Playing house.
Our little people have been collected from all over.
They've been found behind old couches and inside bags of leaves.

Sleeping Stripes

Our matching babies last night.
I've got two sleeping right now, in fact.
I better take advantage of it so I can visit with a friend tonight.

I love that baby doll :) So cute that they match. We have the same one with pink clothes. She got a tear in her leg this week and I have to muster up some mending bravery and fix it.

A Blessed Wilderness

It was just like being in heaven, being in there. In those days there was no road. The park was all a blessed wilderness. I have often thought what a wonderful people we would have been if we had wanted to keep it that way.
