Crafting On

I've been making clothes lately, for dolls and people.  And there is plenty more in my future (and a doll, too)!

Robin got a set of pajamas.  This fabric is just so sweet.
I used the same Magic Cabin pattern that I always do and made up the hat.
It is a miraculous set of patterns--one size fits nearly all!

Willow and Virginia got Summer nightgowns,
and Willow started having her hair braided again.

Braiding Again

I've been doing one around her head.
Gives us both a bit of a workout.

Laura Ashley dress

Here's a new dress I made using another old pattern, a Laura Ashley one.
This pattern was used for me when I was little, though they clothes are missing.
Virginia got her own version, along with a little polka dot dress to match Robin (not shown).

I've been practicing prototype crowns for May day.
These are made of cleavers and buttercups, of which we have plenty.
I hope to add more flowers to the official ones.

Roan's Frame

And lastly, here's a picture frame that Roan stained awhile back.
He loves The Tomten and the Fox.

I've got a little more crafting done, but I have to keep it hidden for a bit, as a certain little fellow has a birthday tomorrow. I'll share it next week.

Those crowns are lovely! Cleavers and buttercups are up all over out here too!

A Blessed Wilderness

It was just like being in heaven, being in there. In those days there was no road. The park was all a blessed wilderness. I have often thought what a wonderful people we would have been if we had wanted to keep it that way.
