Crafting On

I'm determined to get through my long list of sewing and knitting projects.  There are some things that I've had cut out or cast on for months.  No more of that!  Right?  I hope so!

Here's the first of it.  I made some Summery pajama pants for Roan and a set of pajamas for Robin.  He and Willow made the little bag with some help from me.

Airplane Pajamas

Here's a doll shawl that I knitted up fairly quickly.  I started with this pattern and added a plain knit row between the increases to make a more triangular shawl.  I did a few rows of increases to make it tie well.  The girls are pleased.

And here's a wee Colonial dress for Virginia.  I've got an apron to make for it and, perhaps, a pair of pantaloons.  This ruffle was much kinder to me!

This is all so cute! I love the photo of Willow and the dolly in matching shawls and dresses. The Colonial dress is also adorable. I would call that ruffle sufficient, too! You made better progress than I did. I'm still finishing up the one doll dress today! - Stacey

A Blessed Wilderness

It was just like being in heaven, being in there. In those days there was no road. The park was all a blessed wilderness. I have often thought what a wonderful people we would have been if we had wanted to keep it that way.
